As a scientist, the future appears bleak, but remember that human beings are often capable of the godliest of actions, because God is Us. We are truly one vessel, whether an individual wants to believe for themselves or not. I am neither Christian nor Jewish, but that ethos fits nicely with my view that all life on Earth is connected - indeed, all life in the universe (which we simply have not found yet). We know not HOW or WHY we are connected, but we are, and we KNOW it. Well, most of us know it.
