That felt really satisfying to read, albeit maddening and full of scream into the pillow moments. I hope it was just as, if not more, satisfying to write. Thank you.

This whole thing confuses me. Perfectly reasonable people or so I thought, have now decided everyone is antisemitic.

I ask a question. What child is worth more a child of Gaza or a child of Isreal?

Poof I'm antisemitic... what?

Oh, also, another question I've asked. Why is my not wanting 2.5 million Gazans made homeless antisemitic?

I'm not antisemitic I just feel so bad for the good people of Gaza who will miss their neighbors, homes and most of all the dead.

I fully understand the despair over preoccupation with the children. The question is: what else can be done to prevent October 7th to happen again? What else can be done to prevent 75% of these children's parents, who support Hamas and their reckless warmongering, from putting their own children, and millions of other children, at risk again and again? I wonder what we would have done if university youth started cheering for Nazi Germany in the forties. 3/4 or Gazans are indisputably for the genocide of Jews, let alone the end of Israel. Should people of any age be able to intimidate young Jews by claiming publicly for that? I don't have the answers, but feel these questions are not being asked by those who feel a cease fire will end violence. It will not end Hamas' violence.
