Being handicapped by a surgical error and a rare disease, I get what you are going through. Been there doing that. 🙏 I give you all the credit in the world and wish you all the happiness you can soak into your lives together! You go girl!!!

Congratulations! What a wonderful read. Thank you for sharing.

I've long worked adjacent to the wedding-industrial complex and have had really mixed feelings about it all. But then, we hosted our daughters wedding and while planning it was something of a drag, the weekend was incredibly fun and so nice to have family and friends all together in one place. So worth it.

Best wishes to your new extended family.

Congratulations! For complicated reasons my wedding was kind of a horrible experience in certain respects but then my spouse was so great and the marriage has been wonderful. I can never ever regret the wedding because we have lost people since and we will always have the photos of us all together so it is something I will always be glad I did. People never mention that part. They love to make brides feel terrible about their weddings and about their dresses or photos when it is COMPLETELY about capturing an ephemeral moment and life is very short. We don’t know how long we have or who we have it with! It is so great people get to do it. I love to look at people’s wedding photos! I absolutely adore weddings and I love to see people all dressed up even though I am as feminist as they come, a tightwad and a slob. They are GREAT.

As someone who has had five wedding ceremonies -- all to the same person -- I say "Congratulations!" and "Here's to LOVE!".
